Premiered by the BBC Concert Orchestra and Kwame Ryan at the BBC Proms as part of Prom 60: The Dream Prom at the Royal Albert Hall on 1st September 2022. Music and Meditation was commissioned by BBC Radio 3 and the BBC CO for the new Music and Meditation podcast on BBC Sounds released in May 2022 and the piece was subsequently premiered live at the BBC Proms in September 2022.
