It’s a beautiful day
Crimson open wide, big O
Encircling squirming maroon
The sweetest softest
Lovemaking like
Marmalade - oh
it is a
bounteous day.
Now the lemon blanket billows over
Curling fizzing haze around the mist
Halo-red the kiss when day is over
Night can’t find the courage to resist
Winking, drinking sun
Squinting, then
ducks below -
Somewhere somehow
the glow
of a perfect day.
